As we continued to work with latest web development technologies, to render solutions for real-world problems in e-commerce, gaming, social media, and smart-city domains, 4 projects that standout and need special mention are:

1. A music streaming app targeting musicians as their main audience with a unique reward system that benefits them. Plans for a blockchain based application are in discussion.
2. A multiplayer game server with Azure Playfab’s managed services.
3. An amazing tryst with IOT came through a smart-parking application that not only enabled users to search, book, schedule and pay for parking spaces, but it opened parking rental operations to homeowners and parking managers alike. Using React Native for cross-platform mobile apps development and React and Node for creating a scalable Web application, we delivered one of the most interesting solutions in the smart-city domain.
4. A secure, scalable, and easy-to-use e-Commerce Platform for Merchants to create and customize their online store that sells their products with ease. What was interesting was Nuxt Js and Vue Js, the new JS frameworks that we learnt and used to implement this solution

It took some time to research before our team could crack this one. The result was unbelievable though. The site pages that used to load comfortably are now loading almost instantly! And we are very hopeful about the SEO results too.

Challenges and its Overcomes

A recent challenge faced by Synsoft was to make the transition from work-from-home to work-from-office mind set. It was a difficult time for everyone. WFH had its advantages, but it also came with ill-effects like depression, loneliness and of course “moonlighting”. But to get people back to the office was not that easy. While many were more than glad to be back to the hyperactive energy of the office, few needed some time and some persuading.

Finally, we are a full WFO team, and triumphantly so!

The company is currently in a growth phase and the goal is to increase the productivity of the team. We have noticed a sharp rise in productivity ever since we switched to working from Office. The team’s liveliness and activities on the floor have kicked in an environment that everyone has knowingly or unknowingly missed while at home.

The juniors pretty much experienced a setback through Covid as they could not get the desired exposure that an open-floor environment can give. When at office the learning curve is much shorter, there are fewer mistakes, and one learns from a variety of experiences.
Plus, the working days are dotted with some fun and friends that make it less monotonous.

Achievements of 2022

Last year started with the grind of Covid still looming over our heads. The future seemed filled with uncertainties. To tread our way through this, we needed a positive leadership who would re-instill trust into the eyes of our employees. Few things that helped us retain the trust of the team were…
